Minerama is run by a voluntary community committee with the aim of fostering all facets of the lapidary hobby. Well over 110 traders come to Minerama each year, with the larger commercial traders taking up space in the auditorium of the Glen Innes and District Services Club, and the smaller hobby traders setting up outside, flowing into King George Oval.
Everything connected with the lapidary hobby can be seen and bought here, such as fossils, minerals, uncut and cut gems, jewellery, findings, machinery, grinders, sanders, tumblers, grits, polishers, and books.
